WALKER EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR 1003-1013

 

Exhaust gas temperature sensor (EGT), are located in front of the Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) and/or in front/behind of the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). They are designed to detect the exhaust gas temperature and convert it into a voltage, which is fed back to the engine ECU with the voltage signal in order to control engine conditions to effectively reduce emission.
